Meet Our Staff

​We are all here to support you and your child. Our staff is truly exceptional as each teacher brings warmth, skill, and a deep commitment to early childhood education. We are well-educated professionals who genuinely enjoy working with young children, and our passion shines through in every interaction.
Ms. Jenny (Green Room)

Ms. Jenny (Green Room)

Jenny's connection to ESNS runs deep—she was once a student here herself, and both of her children are proud alumni too! Jenny has a background in special education, and brings a thoughtful and inclusive approach to the classroom. She is passionate about fostering environments where children build self-esteem, independence, and strong problem-solving skills. Outside of school, Jenny enjoys traveling, hiking, and singing with a local chorus.

Ms. Bliss (Green Room)

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Bliss has called St. Louis home since 2019, when she moved here with her husband Patrick and their son Otto. For the past seven years, Bliss has worked as a birth and postpartum doula and breastfeeding educator, supporting families through some of life’s most transformative moments. Prior to that, she taught kindergarten in a bilingual school in Thailand and high school English in Southern France.

Ms. Carrie (Green Room)

Carrie earned her Bachelor's in Psychology, followed by an Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She moved to St. Louis in 2018 to focus on raising her growing family. When her son began attending ESNS in the 2022–2023 school year, she had the opportunity to substitute teach at the school, which inspired her to pursue teaching more fully. Carrie is excited to teach in the Three Day Green room. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with family.

Ms. Jen (Blue Room)

A graduate of St. Louis University, Jen has experience working with 3–5-year-olds in schools across St. Louis and in Tucson, Arizona. She has been a part of Ready Readers for over a decade, where she shares her love of books with low-income preschoolers in the city. She also volunteers weekly with The Little Bit Foundation. Jen and her husband have two daughters currently in college. In her free time, she enjoys walking in Forest Park, traveling, baking, and curling up with a good book.

Ms. Jamie (Blue Room)

Ms. Jamie (Blue Room)

Jamie lives in South City with her husband and their two children. She brings over ten years of experience in early childhood education to ESNS. Jamie loves working with preschoolers especially during this stage when dramatic and sensory play help spark imagination, strengthen motor skills, and nurture growing independence.  
In her free time, Jamie enjoys reading, attending educational conferences, and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Gabrielle (Yellow Room)

Gabrielle is thrilled to begin her first year at Ethical Society Nursery School. A native of St. Louis, she studied art education at Missouri State University before spending four years in Austin, Texas, as a full-time nanny to two wonderful children. She believes that every child is inherently creative, unless they are taught otherwise, and she is passionate about nurturing that creativity in all its forms. Gabrielle encourages children to bring imagination into every corner of their lives.

Nancy treasures the camaraderie of lunchtime and the relaxed play that follows- moments that help children bond, unwind, and grow. 
Nancy holds a BA from William Woods University and completed a teacher training program at the Montessori Training Center of St. Louis. She spent many years teaching in several schools across the city, and worked as a nanny. 
Nancy enjoys walking, reading, baking, and spending time with friends. She also loves visiting her daughter in Austin, Texas.

Ms. Stacie (Director)

Ms. Stacie (Director)

Stacie is passionate about serving as the director for ESNS. She previously served as the Summer Camp Director from 2015 to 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience teaching preschool and pre-K children. Stacie taught at UUM Preschool in University City until its closure in 2020. She holds a Master’s degree in Child Clinical Psychology. Stacie and her husband have four adult children who all live and work in the area. She enjoys walking her dogs and organizing a small local food pantry.

Ms. Amy (Yellow Room)

Amy has years of preschool teaching experience, including time at University United Methodist Preschool and The Lab School. 
She previously spent eight years teaching first grade. She holds a BA in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Elementary Education with a Reading Specialization. 
A proud St. Louis native, Amy lives with her husband and their two children: Abby and Ryan. In her free time, Amy enjoys baking, reading, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Cardinals.
