Yellow Room Vision

The Yellow Room is a vibrant, nurturing space where children build the skills they need to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. As our transitional kindergarten class, it bridges the gap between early childhood and formal schooling, blending play-based exploration with structured learning experiences.
Here, children:

  • Develop independence and self-help skills through daily routines and guided choices

  • Learn foundational academics: letters, sounds, numbers, and journaling

  • Enjoy literature, practice rhyming, and strengthen listening skills

  •  Build social-emotional skills like sharing, taking turns, leadership, and impulse control

  •  Follow multi-step directions and engage in collaborative learning

Our educators motivate, encourage, and challenge each child while modeling positive coping strategies and creating opportunities for growth.

Our Yellow Room is for children turning age 5 during the school year. This is a five-day, Monday-Friday program.
